Some yarn, as a suggestion a thin yarn. For example embroidery yarn made of cotton or linen. I used linen embroidery yarn. A matching hook. 40 small beads (possible a few more if you want to have some between the stars and the hooks). 2 earring hooks.
If you're not sure how to crochet, go here.
Slip on 20 beads to the yarn. The simplest way is to take a thin sewing needle. Thread it with some sewing thread and tie the thread ends togheter. Put the crochet yarn through the loop of sewing thread. Put the beads on the sewing needle and thread them over to the yarn.
